Camp on Livingston Island, Antarctica

This field camp located on Livingston Island along the northern Antarctic Peninsula served as a base for a 2-week expedition to study the raised beaches of Antarctica by faculty and students in the Department of Earth Science. The elevations and ages of the raised beaches hold clues to reconstructing the sea-level history and changes in the Antarctic ice sheet over the last 5,000 years in Antarctica.
