CCBER - Kids in Nature birdwatching at COPR

During winter quarter 5^th grade students who are part of the Kids in Nature program visit COPR and participate in a series of fun activities designed to help them understand the importance and somewhat fragile nature of the beach environment, especially here at COPR. The 5^th grade students are taught by UCSB students (KIN docents) enrolled in EEMB189/ES191. The photograph shows a 5^th grade student and one of the KIN docents observing shorebirds.
